Asthma is a serious condition that affects over 300 million people around the world. Asthma is chronic inflammatory disease of the airway that causes a difficulty in breathing. While there is no cure, the symptoms can be managed through and awareness of what triggers attacks and the use of medication. Researchers have determined that asthma is caused by interactions between genes and environmental factors.
